If you really are getting a refund from 3 yrs ago, you better file that return before April 15th or the refund is gone forever - if you owe taxes in any of the years, you will also owe penalty and interest, so get them all filed asap |

If you file for this year, you'll get your refund from this year unless you owe tax for previous years.
If you had a refund coming for the years you didn't file, you can still get it if you file within 3 years of the original due date, but you have to file to get it. |

You most likely will not ever receive a refund again UNTIL you catch up on your previous year's taxes. IF you don't owe anything from previous years, and instead the IRS owes you a refund, the only way you'll get that refund is to file!
Refunds for 2004 will be voided if you don't file before April 15th this year. Better find out now, get 2004-2006 filed so 2007 can be refunded. If you owe for any one of those years, best off to apply the refunds from an earlier year. This will keep you from getting penalized.
No time like the present to get on board and get current. With the rebate that is being promised, if you aren't current, you won't get that either! Get busy!
Good Luck!

If you owe you will have to pay a penalty for your payment being late.
If you don't then you will get a full refund. |

All of the previous posts are correct. Even if you don't want to file, at least make some sort of effort. Fill each form with your name, social security number, address, etc. Let the IRS and State Tax people complete the figures for you. Don't forget to sign and date each form. Make copies. They'll probably send you letters needing more info. Just call them and tell them the info. |

If you file your 2007 jFederal tax return and you have a refund due to you, you will not get the refund until you file your deliquent tax returns. IRS will freeze your refund and send you a letter giving you 30 days to file,IRS will hold the refund until your returns are filed and fully processed, usually takes 6-12 weeks to process the deliquent tax returns.. You should file 2004 on or before April 15.2008 if it is a refund return, after April 15, 2008 you lose the refund.
If you need w2/1099 information contact IRS at 1-800-829-1040, or visit your local IRS office in your city. |

Just file the returns. Send them in separate envelopes.
If you owe tax IRS will send you a bill. If you have a refund, IRS will send you a check. |
