 Is a company suppose to charge you sales tax on your order before delivery charges or after?
I thought sales tax was to cover the cost of items purchased..... wouldnt the delivery charge go on top of the finial sub total?...

No. There is no "newlywed" credit, or first time marriage credit.

I'm sure it might vary by state but in Illinois, I sure didn't get $500 extra back on my taxes for the year that I got married.

Wow-that's new to me! Never heard of that one, although since you are married you can now file a joint return and get many more advantages and breaks doing it that way instead of separate. You may even end up getting a small refund as well. The real tax breaks come when you have children though...lol!
