The only RIT I know of is the Rochester Institute of Technology - they are international. Of course, you know better than to spend the money if you think it was a banking error, don't you?

CHARLES R
Have you already filed your taxes, it should be your refund?

The CRA has been known from time to time to disagree with what someone has filed and pay more or less refund. You should receive a notice of assessment in the mail in a couple of weeks. It might even be available online now. It will explain any changes they made to your return.

DirtSnap
Canada RIT is your tax return.

It is your refund.

When you get your Notice of Assessment in the mail, it will likely show that they altered your numbers (maybe you had a mistake, maybe you claimed something you weren't entitled to, etc)

honey
i don't know what it is but can you tell me how to get it?!! actually, you may have received it by mistake. it most likely was supposed to go into someone elses account. call your bank and explain. do not withdraw the money yet.

RIT stands for real estate investment trusts
you must be listed as one of their stockholders and they sent you the dividends.
If your not aware of owning any stock maybe you have a great aunt matilda that put your name on some?

KungShoe
