How old are you? An adult, maybe. An underage child, no your parents get it!

The payment is based on your 2007 federal tax return. If you did not file or will not file a 2007 return than you will not get the stimulus payment.

You need to have earned $3000 in 2007. Further info is here: http://www.smartmoney.com/tax/advice/index.cfm?story=20080211-Stimulus-Offers-Free-Money-to-Most&nav=RSS20

If you are not a dependent and made at least $3000, then yes.

if not, you'd get a 2nd chance for the money when you file your 2008 return.

You have to meet the minimum income requirement. (I believe it is $3k) If you had no taxes withheld....you probably didn't make enough.

Look on the internet and you can find out. Put in tax rebate.

In order to qualify you would have to meet the following criteria:

1) Wages, social security benefits, and veteran's payments totaling at least $4,000 for 2007.

AND

2) You can not be claimed as a dependent on anyone else's tax return for 2007.

I think you have to have made over $15,000 AND paid taxes on it. so i would say no, BUT, Google it!

I believe that you would qualify, as long as you file a 2007 tax return. You won't owe any taxes, but you have to file to receive the rebate.
