However the 16th has come and gone, and I was wondering if maybe they worded the letter incorrectly, and meant to say that it will be mailed by the 16th..the last two of my ss# is 02..I know that they started the mailing early, has anyone else received this letter? If so did you get yours on the day that it stated on the notice or after? |

I got that same letter and yup the 16th has came and gone. I am still waiting on the mail to come. But I'll update when it does. If not maybe tomorrow will be our lucky day.

The wording was poor - that's the mailing date. You should have it this week, maybe even today. Good luck |

Hello. I never got a second notice in the mail but when checking the 'where's my stimulus' tool and calling the hotline - they said i was scheduled for May 16th . I got my mail and LOOKIE here, my check *does a victory dance* so hopefully you will get it today :-) last two digits are 07 and I am from NJ |

My neighbor got their payment with the same ss# as yours before they got the letter. The letter came 2 days later. |

I never received any letter.....but i know people that didnt get the letter that still got the stimulus, so who knows, did you try the wheres my stimulus link on the IRS website? |

I received the letter stating BY the 16th and I received my check in the mail on Saturday, May 17th. My last 2 are 07. The check was dated May 16th and was mailed from Austin,TX to me in Louisiana. |

I did receive the second letter, but the date is 23rd for me to get my check if I get it before or on, I will notify. |

Ours was to be mailed on May 16th but no check as of today. Maybe tomorrow I guess. Our ss# is 01! Unless our mail got put in our neighbors mail box which happens on occassion. I guess wait another day to see if it is real or not. Also I guess it depends where it was mailed from too right? I live in PA so who knows how long it will take... I know the general rule of 3-5 days. My grandma lives in SLC, UT and when I mail her stuff it takes about 3 days. I am just getting frustrated with the check not being here yet too. I got a letter saying it would be here May 16th but I think that was the date it was to be mailed out...not arrive here. I wish you all luck in getting your checks!! |
