I became unemployed/retired November 2007. I applied for unemployment insurance benefits. They denied it and I appealed. I won the appeal. Within one week of me winning my appeal I had the California Franchise Tax board investigating my past filing claims. Funny thing is I was a Texas resident during the years they were investigating. They claimed I should have submitted a tax return and I said WHY?!?!?! I'm a TX resident!!!

Anyways, when I beat those bastards the Federal Government started snooping around my tax records. This was all within 30 days of winning the appeal. I got a sweet 8 grand for back payments.

Did the California Unemployment Insurance people conspire with the California Tax Board to get money out of me? And when that FAILED they NARC'ed me out to the FEDS?

PS..the FEDS sent me a notice saying they recieved information about retirement income back in 2006. Which is funny because I didn't retire until November 2007.

They denied me because it was a voluntary retirement. I told the judge that I was tired of getting shot at and stepping on land minds. Ex military BTW. He bought it and ruled in my favor. Then they tried to say I didn't report my retirement income. However, its in VA benefits that is fully deductable anyways. Then they tried to appeal my ruling (win) but the judge denied it. I think he was military friendly.

The FEDS said that someone reported I made retirement income in 2006. I told them I did not retire until November 2007. When I asked to get a copy of what was sent they said I had everything. I said I don't have what they sent you guys. The operator started getting all hissy and said she's not an auditor and to just dispute the notice or pay the notice.

I asked for an extention so I can investigate further. I think the Cali punks are still fuming over me whipping their butts several times about unemployment insurance.
