i don't know why do u need to change it, is there any spelling mistake if so then apply for new one, with the help of UTI & NSDL, they charges only Rs.54/- and Form Rs.5/-
purchase a form any UTI or NSDL Centre & fill it up. attached documents what they require. get get the PAN Card

go to the wed site and file your application for revision in the name. You have not mentioned why you want to a change in your name. Proof of Identity will be must for the change.

You go through the website www.incometaxindia.com then down loading the PDF form 49A, (Request for new PAN/ Changes or Correction in PAN Data, Fill this form then attach ID proof & Address proof, submitted to KARVY Centre.after 7 days you get PAN card.
