It is a scam I got four in one week and they are not true .check out
www.snopes.com if you think it is fake or even if you think it to go to be true check it out just type in headline of letter, BUT NEVER send money or your privet stuff over the phone or Internet they will use it and you will have some one using it for identity fraud

Be careful - if they ask for money then its a scam. In fact if you haven't entered a lottery then how can you have won one??!! There are lots of these scams going around, they ask you to send money to 'release' the funds and stuff like that - and you lose your money! Take care - if you have really, really won then Good Luck!

Don't do anything. I recieved an email years ago saying I inherited milloins from a relative in Russia or something like that...The computer got such a bad virus when I went to respond that we had to just throw it out. So I suggest not doing anything about it.

You don't get anything for nothing, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information. Just google scam and see how many hits yoou get, there are millions of them and they are all aimed at taking your money. An excellent site giving advice on how to recognise and avoid scams is at www.rz-berlin.mpg.de/~wm/wm-lotto.html Also If you go to the following link you will get some info on ID theft www.identity-theft.org.uk the iinternet is safe enough if you are careful but please answer nothing that you are doubtful about.Good Luck and be careful.

CanadianBlondie
It is a scam.

jo
If you haven't played the lottery then you have not won. I get those type of emails all the time.

Judy1
It's a scam, so don't respond to their contacts if they make any more.

Marvinator
This is a form of "Advance Fee Scam". You will contact the person and they will congratulate you and blah blah blah and then they will "Oh gee, you need to pay the transfer fees..." or maybe it's Port Fees, or maybe it's Late Fees on a Video Rental, but at any rate, they will ask for money. If you PAY the fees, thinking 'Oh yeah, a little bit to get the big bucks..." you will be surprised to find out there are MORE fees, and then EVEN MORE FREAKING FEES.

The only time they will stop asking for money is when you refuse to pay. THEN, they will stop contacting you.

You see, there is no lottery, there is no money. There IS a Scammer trying to get money out of you.

Delete the email and move on.
