If you are a dependent, or didn't file a 2007 tax return, or didn't have qualifying income over $3000 for 2007, you arren't eligible. Otherwise you probably are. See http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=177937,00.html for more info

gggsbaby
If you earned more than $3000 dollars and filed a tax return by April 15.

SPECIAL KAYE
IF YOU WORK AND FILE YOUR TAXES FOR THIS YEAR,AND YOU RECEIVE A LETTER FROM THE IRS ABOUT THE STIMULUS PAYMENT , WHICH THE IRS WOULD BE SENDING OUT IN MAY. THEN MOST LIKELY YOU WILL, OR YOU CAN LOG ON AT WWW.IRS.GOV.COM

Basically you need $3000 in income, filed a tax return in 2007 for 2007, be an eligible participant (Child under 17, adult male or female) plus some other requirements. See the site below and know for sure. This site has a calculator that you can enter your 2007 tax info into and it will determine if you qualify. Hope this helps.

Probably. As long as you're an American adult, you're probably eligible, assuming you filed a tax return (even if you don't have to file a return, you do to get the rebate this year).
