It worked for me. You have to remember there is a schedule...and the first people to recieve their stimulus payments will be persons who recieved their refund by "direct deposit"...then it is broken down into groups of the last two digits of your social security number....if you filed jointly it may be under your spouses social security number. |

The IRS would have been better off not putting that "feature" on their website. If they thought their phones were ringing off the hook now, they have seen anything yet.
I bet a bag of donuts and a cooked goose that link will be gone from their website by sometime tomorrow. |

According to what the last two numbers are on your social security number, your rebate will come anywhere from now until July. However, if you are going to have it direct deposited, it should be in your account very soon, if it isn't already there. Good luck. |

I am getting the same problem, you must of made a mistake, it says it wont show up until your actually due for it which does not make sense because once we receive it we will not check anymore. I also checked for my mother, she is a low number and due may 2nd, but hers says the mistake thing to. |

Didn't work for me either. It's possible that a return filed close to the 4/15 deadline didn't make the first wave so the rebate will come later. They say the first wave had to be "processed by" 4/15, no real definition of just what that means. |

Where's-my-rebate won't show anything until the refund is scheduled. By then, anyone getting a direct deposit will already have their money. |

I tried to use it also and it didn't work for me either. It's not working properly I don't think they tested it before they put it out. I know my information is correct I referred back to my taxes to be sure. Maybe they will work out the kinks today since they won't be sending out any payments. |

I did the same thing and it tells me that also |

when that happened to me, it was because it was already sent mine. The first time I used it, it worked, but the second time after the check was sent, it didn't. |

Were you in the first round 00-20 or the next round? I'm in the next round, but with the credit union and I usually get my direct deposits a day earlier. I read on CNN.com that no payments would be made today...so I'm hoping tomorrow. But the IRS website didn't have info for me either. |

I checked the status on the site and it showed that my rebate would be deposited on the 2nd(tomorrow) also let me know the amount. 30 mins later I just checked again (same computer) and now it's telling me to recheck my information--I tried 3 times. My last two numbers are 2-0. |

It worked for me. Make sure you are careful when you enter your SS number. I kept hitting tab trying to enter mine and of course i got the made a mistake message. I have hear that it is only working for people's whose rebate has already been scheduled. Hope you get it to work. |
