I will be moving in a couple of weeks should I use the address that I will be moving to on my tax return?
or do i have to use the same address I filed from last year If I have my refund direct depoisted does it matter that my address I am at now is still on my bank account

you would use your new address to file your tax return.

It depends are you going to be moving before you get your refund. You dont want your refund to get sent to the wrong address. You do need to have all addresses that you have lived in the past year on file, but dont get them mixed up w/the one that you want your return sent to. That could be troublesom.

Last year's address is irrelevant. Can you get mail at the new address yet? If not, use your current address. Address on your bank account is irrelevant. The names on the bank account are very important.

Have everything changed to your new address. Can get change of address cards from postoffice. Why would you want to use old address. I don't get it.

Use your most current address. Make sure you do the change of address form from USPS

It is better to have your correct address. Incase something go wrong with your DD then IRS can mail you a letter.

i had similar situation last year when i filed my federal taxes. It actually says in the instructions to use the address that is on your w-2! Then there is a specific change of address form that you submit along w/your taxes. But since your getting direct deposit and it has same address from before I do not see why you change anything. To be sure call the IRS help line, number is in every instruction booklet. Good Luck!

Use the new address as the bank does not deposit by the address, but by the account and routing numbers. Notify your bank of the change in address as well. The IRS will send your tax forms to the new address next year if you tell them this year.
