m_AZing_786 | I work for 35 hours and make $8.50 a hour. how much I make a year? |
Total Household Income |

Mulysa

$8.50 x 35 x 52 = $15,470.00
Of course that means there is no overtime or days off. |

You make $8.50 per Hr multiplied times 35= $297.50 per week, multiply that by 52 which means you make $l5.470.00 per year, that does not sound like enough for a household |

If you work 35 hours a week, make $8.50 and hour and never take a day off, you'll make $15,470 a year.
35 x 52 x 8.50 = 15,470 |

Assuming that you mean that you work 35 hours a week and you worked 50 weeks a year your annual gross salary would be $14,875. You have not provided enough information to determine what the net might be. For sure you would deduct Social Security and Medicare at the rate of 7.65% which would bring you net to $13,737. From that you have income tax and state disability (if you state has SDI) to consider. |

A good estimate for a 40 hour week is double the hourly wage, so 8.50 would be 17,000, roughly.
35 hours a week is 7/8ths, so a rough estimate would be 7/8's of 17,000 or about 15,000 a year.
The actual amount would be 1820 hours, given 2 weeks off. At $8.50 X 1820 = 15,470 |
