i worked at Bath & body works during the holiday season of 2006,then i only worked 2 days in january 2007. i really need to know when i am gonna get my w2. it is already january 29 ,2008 .last year i got my w2 in mid january .did they forget about it? anyone?

Employers are required by law to send W-2's to every employee every single year. However, you may not have received it yet because they don't have to mail them until 1/31. They might not have mailed them out yet (and most employers wait until the very last minute).

PS It's January 30th - tomorrow is the last day they have to mail W-2's.

W-2 forms have to be in the mail by January 31. If you don't receive it next week, call them and ask for a copy.

Employers are required to mail W-2's no later than Jan. 31. If you have not received it by mid-Feb., call the employer.

They have to have them in the mail by 1/31, so you should get it soon as long as they have your current address.

I think that if you didn't make much, they don't have to send you one.

If you were paid in 2006, you should have gotten a 2006 W2 by mid-February 2007. If not, you should get a 2007 W2 by mid-February 2008 (if you didn't move), or, if you had requested a W2 when you left, they would have had to have provided it within 30 days of notice or your last paycheck.

It just has to be POSTMARKED on Jan 31st. You should have it within a week. They mail it to the last address on file... so if you moved you will need to call them to get a copy.

not sure...but i worked at a shoe store for a day..and i didnt get a w2 form from them. so not sure...even if you did you'll probably get a dollar or less..lol..i worked at this one job for a month and only got $8
