They seized everything! The company won't be issuing any 1099s or W-2s, so what should I do for my personal taxes? The FBI won't issue these documents, will they? I have no records for the income, and no one else does either! Any comments or insight would be much appreciated!
Additional Details
The company didn't take out taxes or withholding, etc. We were all "contract workers." I have no paystubs, and no proof that I even worked there. Plus, I don't want to call the FBI to ask them questions, when they could turn around and tell the IRS to raise a red flag if I file my return without any record of income! |

Attach a letter addressed to the IRS to your tax return, explaining what happened, and any details (who, what, when, where, why, how) that you know or can remember.
Estimate a guess for your income. Let them know that it is a guess.
Make copies of everything - the IRS forms, your letter, everything.
Send the return in on time, and they will contact you for a conversation about it. |

Whoa, thats a pretty crazy situation you are in. Contact the IRS directly. You need to let them know exactly what has happened. They might have a way to obtaining those records for you. You are required by law to file taxes so they should be able to help you out. This obviously isn't your fault. They might offer you an file extention because of this. You can also contact the FBI. Call your state office and ask for help, the number is in the phone book. If you know the investigating FBI agent then try to contct him/her. When you do make these phone calls document the time and date that you call as well as the name of the people you are speaking with so you can refer back. |

Your best bet is to get a tax advisor OR call the IRS and ask what you need to do. The sooner the better. The longer you wait, the longer you'll be on hold. |

umm I would DEFINITLEY get ahold of both the IRS and the FBI. I don't actually know how you'd do that, but i'd be on the phone nonstop till i got an answer out of them! |

I'd call the IRS and ask them. No one else will help you. Did anyone (like one of the agents) give you a card or something? Maybe you could TRY to call them. Also one other thing, do you have all your paycheck stubs? Thy MIGHT work if nothing else will. |
