I was supposed to receive the stimulate the economy ccheck today, however I haven't so I went online to the IRS website. it said that i was supposed to receive my check today also, so I tried to call them. instead I kept either getting recording that stated they didn't answer the phones and gave me other numbers to call, recordings that said they were to busy to talk, or messages that gave me the same info that my check is supposed to be direct deposited today. It wouldn't be such a big deal that I get my check today but I need it for medical expenses .

You know how the US Postal Service works and with the Millions of Stimulus Checks being mailed out, it may take longer than we all thought. Be patient, hopefully its on the way.. |

Did you call your bank and ask if there was a deposit pending? Maybe it's there but just has not shown up yet. Ours was there this morning bright and early, but I know some banks do not post the deposits until the next day. |

On the website did you look at Where's my Rebate and put in your ss# and other info and it said today, or were you just looking at the general schedule. If the individual one, it should be showing up soon although it's weird that your bank isn't showing it yet. If you were looking at the general schedule of weeks, you might not be getting it when you think you are, so check Where's my Rebate.

Did you get the information about you receiving it today by the "schedule" or did you use the "where's my stimulus rebate" tool available on the IRS website?? If you haven't use this tool, this tool will tell exactly what to expect!! If the message comes up and says "Sorry....no specific information on your rebate" comes up...the IRS hasn't even processed your rebate yet!! If you have and you are getting the message saying indeed...the IRS is having in directly deposited in your account today, keep checking your account!! I know of someone who didn't get their until 1pm that day!! |

Just keep checking your bank, it may be a processing thing with your bank. |

Even if IRS electronically transmits your rebate today, it could take one business day for your bank to credit your account. these things do not always happen instantly. |
