I am going through the same thing. I got the same message and i still have no refund.
I know that they say refunds are on friday's and the first batch will be on jan. 30th. |

Okay, I just got off the phone with the IRS. My refund was also filed on the 16th and accepted on the 18th. WMR stated Feb 3rd would be the dd date. I checked today it stated that it was dd on Jan23rd and to wait til the 28th to call. The guy said that the first batch of dd should go out by Fri the 30th, he could tell that it was being processed but he didn't know what stage in processing the refund was in. So basically he told me either Fri the 30th or another week after that. Hope this helps. |

Just called the IRS, they said there was a glitch in there system and that the checks would be deposited this Friday on Jan. 30. I was stressing too thinking it was going to take a lot of time to have them "trace" my funds and "re-issue" them, but looks like all is good to go. WHEW!!! |

Mine is stating that the deposit was on teh 23rd as well and check with the bank by the 28th. Of course it's not there and the lady at the bank said LOTS of people are calling in about this. This is my thought....
The IRS dosent' send out ANY refunds unitl the 30th, that is when the first batch is to go out. The program is supposed to tell you that from so many days from the date that your file was accepted your deposit will be on (x) day. ONly they didn't make the first batch for the 30th. (any one following this) EX. My taxes were done on the 16th, so techanically the 23rd would be correct (approx one wk after filing) but since they dont even start sending out money until the 30th, that will be the day i'll get it. Am i the only one who gotten their refund this moring? i cheched my account by 5am est and it was there at 5am exactually, deposit by u.s treasury 220 , i went to the irs site and still says the dd will be on the 28th. not that it was sent out to me yet. |

The same thing happened to me this morning. I am not suppose to get my dd until the 30th and this am it said deposited on the 23rd , but no money is in my account. I called the IRS and the lady told me that my refund was still in process that I shouldn't have gotten a message like that , that there must be a problem with their automatic computer. I just hope the computer error doesn't mess up my refund. |

You're not the only 1. Many people got the same date and have checked their accounts and found no funds.
IRS # is 1-800-829-1040. Good luck getting through though.
I'm guessing the IRS misdated WMR and that the deposit will be in the between today and the 30th. |

There is currently a problem with the IRS software, will not affect your refund.
The first batch of refunds were to be processed for DD as early as 01/30/2009.
I am thinking the dates online should say: Deposited on 01/28/2009. If you don't receive by 02/03/2009, but I am just guessing.
I don't think anyone should have a refund yet. |

this happened to me as well... but i'm going to assume its a mistake because i filed the 22nd and they received it the 23rd, so i know theres no way it could have been deposited the 23rd. irs deposits on fridays so i'm betting its the 30th like i was told my tax preparer. |

I just asked this same question. It is suppose to b not til friday but my bf got his today. Mine says 23rd deposited. Strange. I'm callin exactly at 7 am. There wait times are so long. |

How many of you paid your fees up front and how many of you had the fees taken out of your refund?? The people who got their deposits... did you pay your fees up front?? This could be the reason some are delayed and some aren't.

I have the same problem with the irs. Now when I check my staus the web says that it cannot give me any info, but the phone still says that it was deposited on the 23rd. Boy, I hope some of the people are right about the deposits. I was hoping for the 30th anyway but early would have been great. |

I can't even get through the number. :(
It stated on the WMR site that if it wasn't deposited by the 28th to make sure that my bank has received it, but they haven't.... If you guys get any updates I would appreciate any feedback. |
