once you leave college your parents are not entitled to claim tax credits for you, they need to notify them that you are no longer in education and you will be removed from the claim, if you have younger siblings they are still ok as long as theyre under 16 or under 19 and in full time education.
you have to be over 18 to claim jobseekers , you dont state your age |

Now you have left college, your parents are not entitled to child tax credits. They should notify HMRC or they will end up having to pay it all back. |

You don't say how old you are, but if you are under 18 you can't usually claim JSA if you are living at home, you would have to prove that you and your family were under exceptional hardship.
If you are over 18 you can claim JSA, but your mother's child tax credits will have to stop.
Child Tax Credits can usually only be paid when a child is in full-time education, but your mother can claim for an extension if you're under 18 and register with a careers service like Connexions.
