Call the IRS. Once they are convinced that the check was destroyed, they will make you a new one.
Good luck though, right now, they are swamped with calls. |

The IRS will replace any check that was lost, stolen, or accidentally destroyed. The process can take a few months, however. Call 1-800-TAX-1040 to get the ball rolling. |

I did direct deposit, however I got a letter 1 or 2 days before it was deposited. At the top of it there was a number in case you were having a problem or needed questions answered. If you still have that letter, maybe give them a call. Best of Luck! |
