As from 6 April, the new tax free allowance will be £5435, so you deduct this amount from the £15k and the balance of £9565 will be taxed at 20% = £1913, divide by 12 = £159.42 per month or £36.79 per week, plus your national insurance deduction which you will find out how much on the hmrc.gov. website. |

Don't forget National Insurance. All in all, it works out at about 24% or just under a quarter of your salary. The bastards! |

Yes you will pay P.A.Y.E 22% tax. This I believe is to be reduced to 20% in the new tax year but I am not absolutely sure. The lower 10% tax rate was abolished last year so lower earners now pay the same tax as everyone else. |

Depends if you paid the correct tax last year. If not, by hook or by crook, you'll end up paying what you owe divided by 52, on top of the 22%. |
