You say you filed married jointly...So that means you already filed...Why dont you get an ammendment and refile again. Let the other person know also because that is going to make a difference on the results.... |

You can refile your taxes for up to 3 previous tax years.
If you change your status and refile from "married filing jointly" to "married filing seperately", you must let your partner know, they will have to change their status and refile as well. |
