This is not a tax question. You should contact a family law attorney about getting the child support order changed. |

If you are listed as the child's father on the Birth certificate you will have to continue paying child support unless you can get the child's mother to agree to you giving up all rights as the child's parent..if you are not listed , then you will not be responsible.I don't believe you can get any money back though. |

I think the only way would be for you to sue the mother of the child. There could even be crimial charges, check it out, don't let them (her) get away with it. |

No, and I assume you mean that you found out (probably through DNA testing) that it is not your genetic child. That is not the same thing as not your legal child. Once you start paying child support, it takes a court order to make the child no longer your legal child, even if DNA shows that it is not your genetic child. |
