No , me and my husband already got our stimulus and they did not deduct any out of ours, I think that only applies if you owe child support. |

Not unless you sent your tax retrurn to the hospital.
In short, no. |

Ashley,
Your stimulus check will not be touched by hospital bills. The only way your 'check' will be less than what the irs calculator says is if you owe taxes to the IRS.
If you're not sure how much you are suppose to get you can use the calculator on the irs.gov website. |

No, but if you have tax money that needs paid back, child support owed, or student loans that need paid on they can take it for those reasons. |

No, a hospital bill like any other bill that is not a branch of the federal government is exempt and not attachable as far as the IRS goes. |

I don't think so. You can pay the hospital if you want to out of it, but I don't think they are going to touch it!! |

to D: 'just paying the bill" isn't always as straight forward as it sounds... try having cancer at 15 and still being drowned in bills at 22. They don't care what your situation, they just keep adding to your bill, so keep your nasty comments to yourself |

No !!!! The government will only garnish your check if you owe the I.R.S.. Now that you have your answer maybe you should take care of that hospital bill when your check arrives! |
