The immigrants take advantage of every situation ( these practises must be stopped! They are costly to the tax payer. They are costly to the rest of us job seekers as well forced to live in abstract poverty because even the crap jobs are now taken) It is the land of the free and we are free which means we are free to stop these people and that is what we should do. |

Part of it is our history of tolerance. Not every country will allow you to be a citizen and express your displeasure for the way things run. So, people come here for our freedoms and then start to exercise their freedom to complain. |

It may strike you that most of the foreigners that come here are often different from the foreigners that hate the US.
I don't think a lot of the foreigners get "grants" or can avoid taxes (unless they cheat, which some Americans do too). Furthermore, it is actually not that easy to legally get into the US to work unless you have a high education or special skills. |

Most of the foreigners who come to the US work very hard to get there and then work very hard after they get there in order to succeed. They often take jobs that Americans don't want. They don't get grants, and they do pay taxes.
Since Americans expect to get social security when they retire, and Americans aren't having very many children, we'd better let the foreigners in so that someone will be paying the bills for us in our old age. |

Those who hate US do not hate the free lands but envy the people who make this country great and the goverment who takes care of its people unlike many other countries.
Many are plain jeolous but many are distraught at US goverment's (Big Brother or World Cop) foreign policy
Those who migrate are generally in search of freedom and opputunity which eludes them intheir own counry just like Irish & English settlers centuries ago |

Most people who hate America, what they really hate is the American foreign policy. But many Americans also hate that.
I do not know about the benefits immigrants get, but I would have thought they are the same as what you would get, if you had 6 children and no money or roof.
What you can say is that they get all these benefits to which neither they nor their forefathers contributed. But then, why do you let them in? |

Well , like u said its the land of the free,first of all.
Its a melting pot of different people from all over the world striving for a better life. Hence a lot of expectations from USA too!
Its not that people hate a country eg USA per se, its the govt policies, rascism, and other factors that pollute the environment, like it would do anywhere else.
I dunno about not paying taxes......but we all have a right to earn a livelihood in a legal manner. You refer to people getting jobs, seemingly doing well, so obviously theyre good at what they do oe they wouldnt have the jobs in the first place.
Land of the free doesnt mean you get everythign free, it means people are free to do what they want here, irrespective of religion, culture, nationality etc. or at least they should be free to do so......
Since its a first world country and supposedly a super power, it should set an example to be followed by the rest.
Shouldnt wage wars against religions and developing countries, it defies the purpose and thevery meanign of a fee land otherwise.
You get what you deserve, why grudge people whop have moe than you or seemingly are having it all free? |
