yes ,but by the amount you agree to pay,if you were payed 500 hundred pound to much,you can agree to pay that back at a pound a week if you wish ,,,,,and not by what they say .

yes, you should alert them to the mistake. They might find it themselves, but if not, and you know, you're risking your job by not disclosing it.

Of course. They can deduct it from your next check. Talk to them about it, though. If it was a huge amount, you might want it deducted more slowly!
