From the small amount of information given, I figured your tax for the year at $1,453.00 You don't say how old your dependents are, if they are your children that live with you the majority of the year, and they are under 17 years old, you would qualify for the child tax credit of $1,000 apiece. This would eliminate your tax debt. |

There are too many variables, you will have to do your return to find out. It depends on your deductions and credits. If you do owe, fill out new W-4's with your employers so you can have money taken out for 2008. |

If your children are young I estimate your basic income return at 1000 just with the info you put down |

it depends honestly .. you probably wont owe but you wont get much back either.. you're earned income and child tax credit will offset what you owe most likely. |

Oh yes, you will owe. |

The amount you had withheld does not have anything to do with how much you owe. You figure out how much you owe by filling out your tax return (1040, etc.).
It sure sounds like you will owe at least some tax. Since you didn't have anything withheld, unfortunately you may owe a penalty and interest as well. You are required to have a minimum percentage of what you owe withheld.
You should recitfy this situation for next year, so that you don't get another penalty. |

usually depends on how much you make and which tax bracket you would fall in say if you and your husband made between the two of you 50000 you would need to make sure u atleast paid in 5,000, this is really easy if you have that coming out every week or two weeks, you of course have your standard deduction that the IRS takes off automatically anyway, also your deductions for children, usually you can still make out by getting a small check but in the future u might want to start withholding taxes |

Most likely you will owe something. But why was no tax withheld? You may end up owing a penalty. Did you change your W-4 so no taxes were withheld?
If taxes were withheld on your paycheck stubs - something is wrong with the W-2's and you need to talk to your payroll department. |
