Depends, public/private accounting. It's beneficial to start at a public accounting firm (especially the Big 4) so that you can get some regulation/SEC client experience to beef up your resume. Then, you could get into the private sector (typically for higher pay). |

luckily for you, accountancy is more math intensive than grammar intensive |

pretty bright future. You will always have bread on the table, plus butter, plus caviar, and many other nice things.
You will never have a problem with finding a job. |

This is what i plan on doing. Its job security, but its just another boring office job where you crunch numbers all day long for the most part. |

As I gaze into my crystal ball...the future appears to consist of repetitive addition, subtraction, and multiplication. |

If you like working with numbers, accounting is a nice option that pays pretty well. The downside is that it's just working with numbers constantly. Actually, tax accounting can be interesting, helping people navigate the tax codes. You can make a decent living at it.
The important thing is to find something you'll enjoy. Go to college, study what you enjoy most. You can always change. If you can't decide, you can always get a more general degree, like business. Aim for graduate school...it can make a big difference in your ability to earn in your chosen career. |

Being an accountant is a good job. Not much of a monetary future. Stick with your studies and be a CPA you can pick and choose where you want to work and possibly have your own company...if you desire. |

good. every company/firms must have an accountant. even individual have personal accountant. so not that hard to get a job unless supply more than demand. |
