If i buy a shirt from usa. Cost $50. How much tax to pay?
You will have to pay VAT at 17.5% on the value inclusive of postage (approx £4 therefore) but you will probably avoid import duty as it is waived if the duty is less than £7 (€10).
Dominuc F is right about the VAT waiver but I believe the limit is £18 for items purchased over the internet or by mail order - the £25 limit is about gifts purchased abroad and brought back inot the UK.

I buy lots of things from USA, and I think I've only once ever had to pay, - and that was a $600 laptop, and the Duty came to about £50. Mostly they come in under the Revenue's radar!
Keep your fingers crossed!! Good luck.

Our tax rate is .865% so with tax it should be $54.33

None, you only have to pay tax on imported goods over a certain amount. I think £25 value is beneath that!

If you are buying it online then you won't have to pay anything here in USA, don't know if your country charges any duty on goods that come from outside of the country.

Tax is set regionally. They will have to let you know what, if anything, you will need to pay.
