Look at www.listentotaxman, and it will give you full information on deductions and receipts.
My Name is Nick: A lot of people live on that and less in the UK. That is the group of people this Government is charging extra tax! When I worked for HMRC, I used to see the figures. Actually not bad money in the South West of England. |

To be accurate, £1000 gross per month at standard rates will give you £831 net after tax & NI. |

£1000 a month, if you are paid on a certain date of every month.
£920 if you are paid 4weekly. |

Depending on your allowances etc but I would say roughly £750-£780 per month. |
|

That's about $780 after taxes & social security. If you have a State income tax, knock off another $50. |

I hope that the work that you do to earn this amount needs no maths skills or you will soon find yourself unemployed. |

I would estimate that about a third of that would go to taxes, medical/dental insurance and 401(k). So then you would take home about $660 a month. If you don't get medical benefits and don't have a 401(k) (although you definitely should even if you are young), then it would probably be closer to $750 a month. |

wow you are making more than me may be you can take me out for a very nice dinner.
i guess you will take home in region of £870.00 a month enough to pay your bills and still have some left over for savings for a rainny day and i think you should put some money way on side because you never know when you going too need it anyway i hope it helps and dont forget our date .
