yes you should be able to claim the money for it as you've earnt it. check it out with your work. I did that,I was off for 4 months a few yrs back and they let me carry forward 5 days but paid me for the rest.

If you are on sick and would have taken holidays had you been in work, the company have to re-schedule any holidays you should have taken.

hell yes girl! contact HR though BEFORE the holiday and get clarity on your company's policy

Sorry to hear about your injury
i hope you can return to your everyday life as soon as possible
but to answer your question:
it all depends on where you live, work and how your boss is like
if you don't, i would recommend to quit

Your Contract of Employment will state how you 'accumulate' holiday during the holiday year.
Typically it will be something like '2 days per month whilst employed' .. since you have not been laid off, you are still an employee, and thus will still be entitled to holiday ..
However most places will insist you use all your holiday in the current year .. i.e. you can't 'carry forward' any unused days (and very few places will pay 'money in lieu' of holiday you can't take).
SO, since you can't be on holiday whilst signed off sick, you can only actually take your holiday once you return to work.
