There are 365 days in a year (366 in a leap year) so multiply it out:

400 * 365 = 146,000.00 ( 400*366 = 146,400.00)

So making $400.00 a day would give you $146,000.00 at the end of one year - which would be very roughly Â£73,000.00.

you need to know the exact amount of days some one will work. eg 5 days a week over say 48 weeks will give one rate. 6 or 7 days will give another

Well working everyday for 365 days would be $146000. you can only have 365 days in a year. If you divide your figure of 148800 by 365 you get $407.67123 a day. Even if it were a leap year with an extra day 366 times $400 is $146400.
