Generally curious.

Unlike other 'taxes' it is unenforceable, they have no right to enter your residence and contrary to their tedious letters they do not have the right to question you under caution.

Blo*dy good question! How can you be criminalised for non-payment of a bill!! It's like a dictatorship situation, being forced to pay the Government for the privilege of watching your own T.V in your own home!

I've always said that if I had the kind of money people like, say, Richard Branson, have, I would take this matter to the highest of high courts. It's an outrageous, disgraceful situation that doesn't have a place in modern-day Britain.

It isn't a tax. The Communications Act 2003 to makes it an offence to install or use a television receiver to watch or record any television programmes as they're being shown on television without a valid TV Licence.

Repository Supository
Those are the conditions in this country. If you don't like it let your voice be heard politically or don't own a TV. I mean someone has to pay for Jonathon Ross.

'cos it's the law
