If you expect a refund on your 2007 return, you should file it as soon as possible. This is because IRS will apply your refund to what you owe as of the date the return is processed or April 15, whichever is earlier. You will save on late payment penalty and interest if you file early. |

No, it goes straight to the IRS- AND you still have to stay on your payment plan until the difference is made up. I don't think I'll be seeing a tax refund for years. : ( |

sometimes they do send it to you by mistake, but once you are done paying your dues yes they do start sending your returns again.
No one holds anything against you.No one is your deputed agent who would remember to be punishing.
In short get done with your dues....and they will start your refunds |
|

snowsuit

I dont think you do. |
|

been there done that........
 |
No, and from experience they will take the whole check or atleast whatever you owe them.THEY are gonna get theirs...trust me! |

Depends on how much you payment plan is for. Your refund would be the net of your refund and how much you owe. |

Not until the debt is satisfied in full. If you are due back more than you owe, you'll eventually get a refund for the difference, but no quick cash on this one... |
