Very generally, when you filled out your W-4, if you claimed single with 0 exemptions you will most likely get something back. If you filed single with 1 exemption you may or may not get something back. If you have other credits and/or deductions (like an IRA contribution, education credits, dependents, dependent care expenses, etc.), you will most likely get something back. It's hard to give more than a very general answer without more information. Good luck! |

if you have any dependents file head of household and claim earned income credit you should get more than you paid in |

If you claim 0, and you have deductions, absolutely. |

depends on how many dependents you claim, but if its 0 or 1 then you will get something back |

Depends. If too much tax was withheld, you'll get a refund. If not enough was withheld, you'll owe. |

They have this form called the 1040 that will answer all your questions. Just fill in the blanks with the numbers from the other form W-2 to get the answers. |

It all depends on what dependents you claim. also your living situation. If your on your own that makes a difference, meaning more money. Good Luck |
