ondamax1 | If you make $2200 a month, how much do you make per hour? |
|
|

Mathematica

It depends on how many hours you work.
If you work 40 hours per week, and assume 4 weeks per month, that's ...
2200 / 4 = $550 per week
550 / 40 = $13.75 per hour
However, if you only work 30 hours per week...
550 / 30 = $18.33 per hour |

$12.69
Everyone who is doing their math based on four weeks in a month is screwing it up. |

2200 a month times 12 months = $26,400. Based on a 40 hour work week, times 52 weeks = 2080 work hours in a year. Divide $26,400 by 2080 hours = $12.69 an hour.
You have to remember, there are more than 4 weeks in a month (a few days left over), so you have to go by how many work hours in a year. |
|

There are slightly more than four weeks in a month, so the people who used that give a somewhat inaccurate answer.
$2200 a month is $26,400 a year. If you work a 40 hour week, then divide by 2080 which is 52 weeks times 40 hours. That comes to $12.69 and hour.
Even that isn't exact, since there are really 52 weeks plus one day (two in leap years) in a year, so your actual hourly amount is slightly less than $12.69. |

Assuming you work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, $12.69 per hour. |
|

Cerebal

2200 / 4.333 weeks per month / 40 hours per week = $12.69 per hour |

Ummmmmmmmmm.....
2200 x 12 = 26,400 per year
div that 52 weeks = 507.70 a week
Lets call it $ 508 a week div by your hours per week
508 / 35 = 14.50 or 508 / 40 = 12.70 |

If you work 7 days a week and 8 hours a day you make 9.821 dolars an hour = equivalent to 100 pesos (that's mexican currency)
if you work 6 days a week and 8 hours a day you make 11.45 dolars an hour = equivalent to 120 pesos (that's mexican currency)
if you work 5 days a week and 8 hours a day you make 13.75 dolars an hour = equivalent to 140 pesos (that's mexican currency)
That's 550 a week divided by the days you work a week divided by the hours you work a day
550/days/hours="what you make an hour" |

Assuming you're working a 40 hour per week job, that would come out to $2,200 / 20 work days = $110 per day, or $110/8 = $13.75/hour |

come on... easy math.
2200 per month (divide by 4 - four weeks in a month)
550 per week (divide by 40)
13.75 per hour.
better way to be accurate.
2200 x 12 += 26,400 per year (divide this by 52 - 52 weeks in a year.
507.6923 per week (divide this by 40 hours)
$12.69 per hour. |

About $13.75/hr. 2200/160 hrs = 13.75
(160 hrs = 40 hrs/wk * 4 wks) |
|

|
Take 2200, divide by 4 (weeks). Divide that by 40 (hours).I can't belieive you want others to do your work for you. |
