If you make 27 million a year how much do you owe in taxes?

isabow27
their tax bill would be more than what I make in a year, that's for sure! :)

Of course, anyone making $27 mil would have invested wisely and use all the tax credits and safeties as possible. There is a way to lower your income bracket by investing.

It depends on what country you live in. In some countries you would owe nothing.

If you have 27 million it doesn't matter. You definitely have enough to pay the amount owed, and still go out for some ice cream :)

You'd have offshore accounts and a bloody good accountant so probably £1 or 50cents! There was a Panorama documentory once (BBC) that showed how millionaires did it - that is why the rich are rich and the poor stay poor .

because you hired a creative book keeper... hmm, I'd say that the government would give you money in hopes of creating economic growth.

Well, I would say roughly $8M, but you can write off so much, especially if you are self employed.

If I were to make 27,000,000 per year, I would not owe any taxes...I would contribute heavily to Bush and get off scott free! All the rest of his cronies are out, living high, and seem to be exempt from any punishment. If I were one who would like to see G. Bush exiled to the Ozarks to live in the poverty he has created, I would contribute so much money to decuctable uses, I would only have to support half the IRAQ effort with my taxes....they would want all my money and 12 times more....OR, I could buy my own independent island (small island, that's for sure), but I would have no defense agains invading Christians who would want to convert me and make me contribute all my money to their dubious causes.

Use Form 6251, Alternative Minimum Tax, at www.irs.gov. The rate is 28%.
