well i know every year around here were i live they have model search i've done been picked twice for it..its fun and i'm sure you will like it.they take you and place you in front of judges and if your picked you get to have a sign on contract with whoever it is..maybe look around for something like that..there is always beauty pageants enter in one and see where it takes you..even local newspaper sometimes does things like that..they are looking for all different faces the taller and pretty you are then most likely you'll be taken in a heart beat..if your smaller/shorter and pretty they can use you for magazines or commercials...have fun with it! |

The other answer was rather blunt but the reality is, if you are going to model and represent a product, and especially if you are going to be in commercials, you need to sound fairly intelligent, and you need to represent the company you work for well. That means you need to be able to communicate effectively and intelligently. There are at least 6 major errors in your question, and these are on really simple words.
If English is your second language, or if you are learning disabled, it's understandable. If not, it's less understandable. The upside is, if you really want to do these things when you are older, you have enough time to work hard in school and catch up with your grade level, and then, to do even better. Take the harder classes in junior high and high school even if you don't get high grades. You'll still learn more.
The other thing you need to do, is be healthy. Maybe you are already in sports. If you'll notice, people on commercials or in magazines are all in shape. It doesn't matter what your shape is right now. You can make your body into almost anything you want if you work hard at it. Get involved in athletics. Run track, do gymnastics, or whatever is available. It doesn't matter if you aren't good at it. You'll get better. The goal is not to win. That's nice, but your goal is to make your body as nice as possible with the genetics that you have. Almost any young person can become very fit if they decide to.
You can be almost anything you decide to be (some things aren't likely though - you can't play pro basketball if you are five feet tall), but the first step is recognizing what you need to work on. That can be painful. People will tell you and it might make you mad, but that doesn't mean they are wrong. So, start working now on all these things and you have a good shot at doing what you want later.

Be yourself. Find a possiblity to perform for people. I used to date a 14 year old girl who modeled. She just looked for opritunities online. She made good money. Check your local papers or local internet sights for..."gigs".

send your pics to modeling agencys ex) irene modeling agency. dont ever pay modeling companies to take pics or represent you thats just a scam like john casablancas modeling agency. you can look up modeling agencies online. also go on auditions as many as you can make sure there all legit and have an adult go with you. try and build up your resume. take acting classes.i took one and it was great and well worth it! also if you have a local theatre thats a good place to start to get experience. you prolly should go to a professional photographer and get headshots to send to the agencys. good luck! |
