No. It is not exempt. They will tax you heavily. That is why most people leave it in a carrier bag at customs. |

I think you'll find that it's THEY that would be doing the IMporting - and YOU would be EXporting it. Mind you, it's still a bloody good idea, especially as today, without any kind of warning, yahoo have joined us to the yankee site and we're no longer UK & Ireland. I would suggest every one should go to http://climatecrisis.org/ which refers to a very interesting docu-film made by Al Gore called 'An Inconvenient Truth' and shows how common sense does not appear in the USA version of English ... Climate change is here guys and as the USA pollutes more than the whole of Europe and much of Asia COMBINED then perhaps you will see a serious side to the original question raised .. the USA has no common sense at all ... |
