Only certain shops accept Euros, you would have to check beforehand which shops did, and which ones didn't. If you were to go to a bank, you would only get pounds sterling. |

in northern ireland because we border with Ireland who use the euro alot of shops accept either , The pound is used more as that is what the banks dispense but if you had been on holiday and euro left you could spend in a shop to to get rid it . |

there are only certain shops that you can spend euros in.
it would of bein expensive to change over all the coins and lables of price of items in shops.
