I E-filed and received refund well before April 15th. Direct deposit to checking. Deposit information is on my 1040 return. My SSN ends in 14. I used Turbo Tax but all fees were paid by debit card prior to sending return in. Where is my check?

Went to IRS wesite and I qualify and they sent me 2 notices saying I would receive payment By May 9th. |

We are all waiting: myself, my twin, my coworker, my mom...we all should have gotten it on May 9th. We all filed electronically. UGH!
Apparently, If you chose the option to have your TaxACT(or turbo tax...) filing fees deducted from your refund, the IRS sent your income tax refund to Republic Bank. The transaction fees and TaxACT's product fees were then deducted, and they forwarded the balance of your refund to your bank account.
Because the IRS is not working through the 3rd party banks to process the Stimulus Payments, you will receive yours by paper check. ARGH!!! |

I never recieved a letter from the IRS but on my return I printed from Turbo Tax, I clearly states I'm supposed to recieve $600 and also when I use the calculator it says the same thing. It should have been DD'ed on Friday, but my bank says otherwise. I'm single and only grossed $27,000 for 2007 |

I am one of the ones who thought I would be getting DD on May 9th. I used TaxAct software and unfortunately had the fees deducted from my refund ----so I guess I am waiting for a check. My co-worker used Turbo Tax but paid her fees with her credit card. She got her DD on Friday, May 9th just as scheduled. |

My SSN ends in 17... I thought we were supposed to get it by May 2nd. I'm still waiting on mine too, I also have direct deposit, and I also used TurboTax. I don't know what could be wrong.
Edit: Oh, how infernally annoying! I just called the IRS, and after getting through their automated system, I discovered that they don't have me listed as having direct deposit. Someone on my question mentioned that TurboTax pays you the rebate through direct deposit, so you have to wait for the IRS to mail it to TurboTax, and then they give it to you. Gosh, if I'd known that was how it worked, I would have filled out the damn papers myself in hard copy and mailed them. Ugh! |

i honestly dont know did you go to the irs website and make sure you qualify?
i did get mine on the ninth of may..which is when i thought i would get it..today i got a letter in the mail telling me that i should have gotten it on the ninth but that it can take up to six weeks to get it |
