I would say NO...SBI MAGNUM fund is going crazy !!!

If you are looking at short term of say 3 to 5 years, MF will be better choice.

Well I think you should make carefull analysis yourself on this point. Be it individual, or MF or ULIP, no one can escape stock market losses when the market crashes from 21000 to 13000.
