no rebate yet either.
I called the IRS this morning to get some clarification as to the scheduling of direct deposits and they didn't even look up my info they just told me the same schedule that is posted on their website. She was no help.

The money they have sent out is to banks to people with direct deposit . If yours is comming by check theu will not be mailed untill the 9th of May OK. |

who ever said they arent going by the last 2 of the social is wrong, yes they are. my fathers is 00 and he got his on monday direct deposit. my husband and i are both 14 and we have not recieved it yet, if your social ends in 00-20 and you had your taxes direct deposit it SHOULD be there by May 2nd, if it was in check form with the same last 2 of the social they will mail it out on May 2nd.
I personally think everyone should just ignore the fact that they said its coming early, and just plan for it on Friday, or the date posted on the IRS website. |

Remember, it's not just when the IRS sends out the direct deposit, it's when your bank posts the transaction. Your bank can be what's holding up the credit to your account- each bank posts incoming transfers in their own (and sometimes seeminly random) way, so it could be YOUR BANK that is slowing things down. |

I filed with direct deposit through Turbo Tax in Feb., last two digits of SS number is 02 and haven't seen anything yet either.
When I called the IRS number the recording said you would get a letter in the mail about a week before you got your rebate telling you the amount to expect and what day you should get it on. Does anyone know someone who actually got a letter like that? I don't. |

the last two digits of my social is 06 and ive been checking on my bank but still there was no trace of the rebate check...it makes worried if i'd be getting it or not but i guess im not the only one that didnt get it as expected. My friend's social is 20 and she already got hers. and is that true, those who'll get a rebate check should have received a letter of confirmation that they wil get a rebate check....hmmm i didnt get one of that!!! we'll see until friday... |

But seriously...you have all the right info but you need to realize that 800k is only 0.6% of the rebates that need to go out, that is a VERY small number. Give it until Friday. There are people on this forum posting that they haven't gotten their money yet and their last 2 digits are 00 so I wouldn't be too concerned. If you don't have it by the time the paper checks should have been then the IRS says it is time to call, but they are telling people who call now that more are going out every day and they aren't even checking for people that they were supposed to get one....sorry. |
