You will have to use a 1040 form and a 2441 form (dependent care) before February 11th. |

Not exactly. If you file form 1040A, you have to wait until 2/11 to claim dependent care, but you can get around that by filing form 1040 instead - the corrections to that one have already been complete, so you can file it now. |

If you file Form 1040-A, Schedule 2, yes it is true. You CAN file a paper 1040-A now but processing will be delayed until around Feb 11th or so.
However you can get around that by filing Form 1040 and Form 2441. That combination is not being delayed. |

no, you can file right now the irs is accepting tax's right now. And good news if you fall in the guidelines you can make up to 3000.00 for EIC for last year. And more good news if you fall into the guidelines you can get your tax's done for free. [note: if you dont have a w-2 use your last paystub of the year]
H and R block is a good site to go to.. Also, go to www.irs.com and you can find out if you qualify for the free tax prep.
{h and r block is known to get more back for you, and the online service fee if you dont qualify for free is alot cheaper than going to their office} |
