Hi Folks.
During the 1980's & 1990's I became fed up wth UK taxation on everything fom Income to a box of matches, so I took my skills & knowledge off to the Mid-East.
There tax is unheard of.
If you earn £1 you keep £1 to spend on £1's worth of goods or services.
A simpler way of doing things, BUT.
Now I am back in the UK, I have received communications from the National Insurance Contribution gnomes saying I am not up to date with my taxes !
Right > I have warned them that any more needless pestering from them, and I will again take myself overseas, thus depriving the treasury of any income from me of any sort.
What do you reckon ?

The tax gnomes laugh at your puny threats, Mr The Boat.
If you are here on holiday, then you don't have to worry but it sounds as though you have taken up residency again and you will need to ensure you are paying into the national coffers.
Find out how much you have to pay and ask for a detailed breakdown (they love that!).
Then decide if you want to remain.

Yes they will do this Bob and if you dont pay up it will affect your pension entitlement. Only way to avoid UK taxes is to be very rich so you can employ people to fiddle your taxes or run your own business so you can fiddle taxes and VAT. |
