aaron b | Is there a form/place you can fill out to legally not have to pay federal imcome taxes?? |
I have been reading and researching this and have come to the conslusion that there is not a law which gives the federal government the right to collect federal income taxes. I was just wondering if this was true? and if it is, how does someone get the correct/proper information to move on and try to do this. My whole thing is I want to do this, but only if it is legal within our laws/constitution. I am just looking as a private us citizen |

The form you are looking for is a Death Certificate. Somebody else fills it out for you. |

You are headed down the wrong road. Many have tried, all have failed. And some have ruined their lives for the effort.
If you feel strongly about your "research", then maybe you should do the right thing and find a different country that supports your views. It won't happen here. |

You have to pay taxes. If you try not to you will be fined. go to irs.gov and search for frivolous (that is what they call nonsense arguments like yours). Just pay your taxes. |

As a private US citizen, why would you set yourself up for STILL owing the bill, plus penalties, interest, legal fees and the threat of jail time.
Yes, Wesley Snipes pulled the I'm-so-stupid-I-believed-this-crap and avoided jail time, but HE STILL OWES. If he can't come to payment arrangements with the IRS, they will confiscate his assets and auction them off.
This issue has been litigated for nearly a century. EVERY COURT has ruled time and time again that there is a law (title 26), it's been ratified, it's legal etc. |

The 16th amendment gives the federal government the right to levy taxes. As long as you are a citizen, you will be liable for taxes. You can escape this ONLY if you leave the country AND renounce your citizenship.
In the meantime, get a good tax advisor and learn the best ways to minimize your taxes. |

Hmmmm! Wesley Snipes, lol. As a matter of fact you can research all you want; however, as of 1913 the federal government began taxing income. It has been found by the Supreme Court (law of the land) to be constitutional on numerous occasions. Further, at least once a year some crackpot gets tried because he is thinking the same thoughts that you are now.
You can try the gold standard bit too. That's always entertaining. The guy who came up with that one spent a couple of years in prison back in the late '90's and 2000's.
Shut up and pay your taxes like the rest of us. |

The 16th amendment to the constitutions allows the Federal Government to collect Income Tax. Many people have tried to challenge the law and all have failed. Many have gone to prison and some have died trying. Good Luck. |
