You don't get anything for nothing, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information. Just google scam and see how many hits yoou get, there are millions of them and they are all aimed at taking your money.An excellent site giving advice on how to recognise and avoid scams is at www.rz-berlin.mpg.de/~wm/wm-lotto.html Also If you go to the following link you will get some info on ID theft www.identity-theft.org.uk the iinternet is safe enough if you are careful but please answer nothing that you are doubtful about.Good Luck and be careful. |

Sorry but this is definitely a scam. There was a TV programme in the UK recently about this type of scam. No lottery would ever require you to pay up front they would simply take it out of your winnings. |

afraid they are playing on peoples greed. Wish I had won a million for 850, but you know it is not true. Never send money or give any personal details.
If you have 850 to spend treat yourself to something frivolous. At least you will get something which will bring some enjoyment and not heartache. |

I have won some money on a lottery before,not a life changing amount - but i BOUGHT A TICKET and the money was sent directly to my bank account.
What you have received is nothing but a SCAM - think about it ,if you have won so much money why can't 'they' just deduct their 'expenses' from your winnings?
These criminals prey on people's desire to become instantly wealthy - don't become a victim. |

Its a scam, whatever you do, don't send the money. If it were a genuine one you wouldn't have to send any money, they would deduct it from your winnings and send you the £1,000,000.00 minus the $850.

Well, sure, the scammers would tell you it's legit - otherwise you wouldn't consider sending them money.
This question gets asked her several times a week, sometimes several times a day. It's a scam - don't waste your money, you'll never see it again.

this week ive win two seperate lotteries totalling £1.5 million.two lotteries whats the chance of that then??the first e-mail didnt ask for money but i know it will later,ive not even entered a draw
dont send money as someone else said surely they would just deduct their fee and send you the balance |

Its a scam. You have not won. You can only win if you bought a ticket - the UK lottery does not contact winners- the winner has to contact the Lottery organisation.
Sorry to disappoint you. But DONT send that money!!!! |

I would love to know the out come, at least the amount you have been asked to pay is much less then what I was asked to pay. check it with your bank or a solicitor. I also received similar letter some weeks ago, i filled in forms but I did not receive a reply. |
