yes, my suggestion is that you buy/hold a stock say Microsoft for $ 100. you wish to sell only if it goes to $ 120 then instead of keeping this investment idle just 'write a call' on it of a strike price of $120 for $ 5 on a monthly basis giving you a return of $ 5 per month on an investment of 100 each month & whenever it reaches 120 the stock automatically sells off giving you a capital gain at that time & on a regualar basis a retun of 4-5 % monthly. to learn more on this topic log in www.888options.com or search simply on google for 'coverred call options strategy'

There is no investment guaranteed with 4% Monthly income. You should understand that 4% montly income means simply 48% yearly income which is on a very higher side. These days guaranteed income means deposits with banks, which is paying interest around 8-9 % per annum and you are expecting 5times of this. But this does not mean that you cannot earn such an income. You will have to take risk and nothing is guaranteed. The popular saying goes like this- higher risk higher returns. If you go by this logic and some intelligent investment - in shares/ in mutual funds , You can look at this kind of returns. But NOT GUARANTEED.

On the lighter side, you can earn more than this by illegal money lending.

Ya, Share market is the one best option.

stock market possible, but not guranteed instrument. you can lend on post dated cheques to films, real estate speculators, loan sharks etc at your own risk. there may be even some chit funds that may give a high return by rotating your funds. higher the risk higher the return. FDS in the bank give you 8% per annum, 48% return very steep in that relation.

there is definitely share market.

but it all depends on your ability to play in the market.
the more better the decisions u take added to it the risk factor.... the higher the decisions

track down the markets continiously and especially watch cnbc after 9 which will help in ur decisions.

anyways u can play virtually online trading at www.moneycontrol.com which will help u to know the markets better.

any ways i suggest u to buy shares of lower prices.....dont buy of i.t cos...look out for more upcoming good IPOs so that u may earn a very high LISTING GAINS

ALSO MAKE SURE OF TAX POLICY... BETTER TO KEEP THE STOCKS FOR LONG TERM SO AS TO AVOID TAXES..

......................................... so are the forex markets
