OH MY GOD! You poor, poor person. You didn't get your free handout yet. We all feel very sorry for you.
Why not pretend you aren't getting it at all. Then, when it does come, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Don't plan you whole life around hand-outs. Go out there and work for you living. Don't wait for someone else to bail you out. Why are you so far behind on rent? What are you doing for yourself to get the rent money? |

Rising food, gas and ect costs are literally making everyone scrounge to survive.
Mabey not the rich fu*kers, but you get the picture.
So yea, people do need this to survive. |

Unlike the extremely insensitive answer of the first person, I have not been stimulated either. I satisfy all the criteria for getting a payment. My daughter is a sophomore in college paying her own way. She also was expecting her deposit yesterday but has not. A friend of mine is also in the same situation. Although I am not counting my chickens, since I am forty and a little cynical, it something completely different for the IRS to jerk around a 20 year old who did their taxes for the first time this year. I don't have any other answers, except that there are other people out there like you. I'm surprised we have not heard complaints on the news yet. The person who responded first needs to develop some common courtesy. I would like to apologize for their lack of tact. |

Anyone who says this is free money or a hand out is wrong. We deserve this money. We ALL pay way too much in taxes to the government. This is my money & I want it. I do work for a living but so much of my money goes to taxes, so the fact that I am getting a little bit of MY OWN MONEY back is great. We all deserve it. |

I received a deposit into my BOA account but I am call the IRS because the amount deposited was incorrect according to their payment calculator. And yes King felix we need this money, times are hard if you hadn't already noticed!!!!!
Taxman if you hadn't noticed gas prices are almost $4.00 a gallon its not llike were sitting back not working and waiting for handouts but food is going up gas is going up every expense is going up but our paychecks are not so every little bit helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Same deal here. We used Turbo Tax - soc ends in first distribution numbers - NO DEPOSIT! Desperately depending on it. Hubby lost job two months ago. Called IRS - NO HELP -- said to call back the end of next week. This really stinks - but glad to know we are not the only ones. I wish the best for everyone. |

I was supposed to be one of the ones to receive my direct deposit today as well. I spoke to an IRS rep this morning who told me to check with my bank on tomorrow or even Monday, and if it isn't there to call back. She wasn't all that helpful and her information was very general. Like you, I need that money to pay a couple of bills, buy food, etc.... I hope it comes soon for you, and me too! |

I was supposed to get mine too today and I haven't received it!!! When i called my bank they said they aren't doing any transactions till Tuesday wtf is this all about my last two digits of my ss# are very low!!!! When i called the IRS they said they could take up to the 16th to do direct deposits for the numbers of 00-20. Well that's the Gov for us!! Good luck to everyone i know how much its needed you not the only one! |

my s.s.# ends in 20 and i didnt get my check yet. i cant believe some of the ignorant comments i have seen!
the only way i could keep from getting my only vehicle repossed was to promise americredit that i would catch up in full by may 2nd.
and as far as a handout i have a bad leg work 12 hour days for 11 years and can barely afford to prvide for my family.
i am glad that some can afford to not think that$1800 is very much. here is an idea,call americredit and explain to them they will just have to wait for their money,it is no big deal!!!!! |

My fiancee and I was supposed to get our refund on May 2nd as well, and it did not come in! I called the IRS number and through the automated system, it said that it should come in May 9th through direct deposit. I will wait until May 9th. |

i did receive a letter in the mail. and i was also in the 00-20 category and ckd with my bank account on line and it is still not in there. i read someone elses comment that the would be depositing until midnight so depending on the bank it could take a few more days or you are one of the ones that needed a closer look and they pulled yours out of the batch to review the amount you will receive. |

I have the exact same problem...my refund was supposed to be today and i was using that for my rent..and i have bank of america and theres nothing!!!! I did not get a letter...i dont know what the heck is up.. |

I also just called the number listed in this posting, and if you used Turbo Tax, you're basically screwed! =( Turbo Tax doesn't directly deposit your money into the account you specify...they deposit it into THEIR account, then yours, therefore you will receive a paper check, instead of direct deposit. It will go out May 23rd. Grrrrrrrrrr |

Did you use Turbo Tax? I did not receive my check today either. After MANY calls to any number I could find, I finaly got through to some one at 1-800-829-0582...ext 462 (must put 462). She said that Turbo tax did not provide my bank account information and so it will be mailed on the 23rd. |

I have bank of america too which does suck LOL, BUT when we have had direct deposits from the IRS before for tax refunds it comes in as scheduled. They have never held anything or showed anything pending from the IRS before.
I know this sucks, Im scheduled for mine next week, but It's crap that those of you in this weeks category still haven't gotten a rebate! |

Call 800-829-1040...press 7 to speak to a real live person about your rebate...they will be able to look up your info and tell you what is going on. |

I switched from BOA to Washington Mutual...
But yeah you should have gotten it this morning in your account... maybe you are getting a paper check instead... but i will wait to see if it hits your account tomorrow morning... surely you have a 3 day grace period for rent.
