I assume for your rebate? My friend's ends in 09 and she has not got hers yet either. We are starting to wonder if they (irs) got behind or overextended themselves and are now behind. So, don't fret yet, since my friend does not have her rebate yet either. My husband and I are in the next batch, so surely you will see yours this Friday (9th) and us next Friday. |

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but....I found out that if you recvd your money through any third party funding....as used by HR Block and Turbo Tax, the government doesn't have your checking account info....The payment was sent to the bank and the bank which issued your tax refund and that bank has your Direct Deposit info not the federal government....Therefore my friend you should be getting you stimulus payment via regular mail... |

Wait till Monday. Go to www.irs.gov. Click Where is my Refund? Then click Status of my Stimulus Rebate. or #01-866-234-2942
Those who did not get full tax rebate this year, will get remaining money in 2009 when they file their 2008 return and qualify.
For information on stimulus tax rebate schedule, the eligibility and how much rebate you will get read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/02/are-you-eligible.html |

If you used Turbo Tax and had that 3rd party Bank (Santa Barbara), handle the rebate by taking it out of your refund, the IRS doesn’t have your direct deposit information. They sent your 2007 tax refund to the bank which then routed it to you.
If this is your case, you check will be mailed. |

If you let Santa Barbara handle your refund so that you didn't have to pay the fee up front then you will get a paper check since your refund was sent to Santa Barbara and they deposited it in your account. And Kapn, I figure that most people desperate enough to ask yahoo answers about their refund really need the money. If money is of no issue to you, I can give you a bank account number in desperate need of money to avoid foreclosure and pay for groceries this month. Not trying to be glib, just pointing out the seriousness of the money for most of us. |

The IRS will mail you a paper check. There seemed to be a problem with direct deposits when the return was done on Turbo Tax. |

Since you filed with Turbo, did you opt to have your filing fees taken out of your refund. This will cause you to get a paper check. I have read this numerous times on here. Just something to check. |
