Sodomites can't have children, so they proselytize. For federal tax purposes, a marriage means only a legal union between a man and a woman as husband and wife. Further, Local law is violated. Of course they file taxes. They are required to if they make enough money to have to file, just like anyone else. Where did you get that idea?
If you are talking about being able to file a joint return with a partner, you are correct. But that doesn't always save money - it can cost extra in tax depending on the incomes of the two people, so they might not be missing out on anything. |

Homosexuals have to file taxes just like anybody else, but in most states, they can't get married and get benefits or file taxes as a couple. I've been told you pay less taxes as a married couple, so the IRS would actually be making more money by forcing them to file separately. |

Being gay does not mean that you don't pay taxes. If that was the case, I know some folks who would become gay in a New York minute.
Because of the restrictions on gay marriage, it just means that homosexual couples can't file their taxes as "Married, filing jointly".
They still get to pay taxes as individuals. If they have children together, they'll have to work out who gets to declare the kids as a deduction on their taxes come April. |
