Call your state tax office and the irs they will be able to help you replace the checks.
If you go to this link the irs has a form to fill out for your lost check.

You will need to contact the issuer, IRS or state agency.
If it was an IRS refund, check out the link below. |

Call your state IRS if it is for your state refund. If it is for your federal refund, call 18008290582 and explain the situation. They may send you stuff to fill out. |

If after a good week or so searching for your copies you still can't find it, request a copy from your accountant, if you've used one. Outside of your own originals, your accountant is easier to get the copies from.
If you didn't use an accountant, you can request copies from IRS. Fill out Form 4506. They have a $39 processing fee for each year. If you live in an income tax state, you'll have to go through a similar process.
Regarding your replacement check, you'd have to call the IRS and applicable state to request that. They usually ask you to prove identity by asking details of the tax return so it'll be a multi-step process.
Good Luck |

You can get replacements but I'd spend a week looking EVERYWHERE for them. Clean up your room/house completely. Look all through your wallet. Ask your SO or whoever might be able to help. Think about where you last had them.
If it's been awhile since you received them, you can apply for replacements. Checks "expire" after six months and are said to be "stale." Contact the IRS and ask them which forms you'll need. Download the forms from their web site, complete them, and mail them in. It won't be fast--they have to make sure they haven't cleared, etc. |

you can get a replacement but there's some red tape. (good ole uncle sam!!) call the irs there is a form that you have to get notorized (basically stating you lost the check and you didn't cash it and you WON'T cash it if you find it). I'm not sure how long it takes but at least you won't be S.O.O.L |
